What is the Rajadamnern World Series?
The Rajadamnern World Series is the flagship Muay Thai event at Rajadamnern Stadium and the most internationally watched fight night in Bangkok. Launched in 2022 by Global Sport Ventures, RWS represents the New Era of Muay Thai - preserving the ancient traditions of the sport while delivering world-class production, transparent scoring, and elite international matchmaking every Saturday night.
The RWS Fight Format
Each RWS Saturday card features seven to eleven bouts. Regular fights are contested over three rounds, with championship main events following the traditional five-round format. RWS uses a modernised 10-point must scoring system with open scoring — judges' scorecards are displayed publicly after every round, so fighters and fans know exactly where things stand heading into each round.
The Fighters
RWS attracts elite Thai and international fighters competing for prize purses of up to 1.5 million Baht per event. A KO victory earns a fighter a 200,000 Baht bonus on top of their fight purse. The level of competition and financial stakes means every Saturday card delivers sustained, aggressive action from the opening bell.
The Production
RWS is broadcast live to over 200 countries via DAZN, making it the most globally visible Muay Thai event on the planet. Inside Rajadamnern Stadium, the Saturday night experience includes stadium-wide light production, an immersive halftime dome show, and the traditional Wai Khru ceremony and live Pee Klong orchestra that open every fight. There is nothing else like it in Bangkok.
Does RWS Happen Every Saturday?
Yes. RWS takes place every Saturday night at Rajadamnern Stadium throughout the year. The only exceptions are Thai national holidays when the stadium is closed. All confirmed 2026 Saturday dates are listed in the schedule above.
